A linerless label is a pre-printed pressure sensitive label that has no need for liner or backing paper. The labels are wound on a roll or reel and feature a silicone strip applied to the top of the label that prevents the adhesive from the underside sticking to the label below. These simple adhesive strips applied to the underside, means that there is an increased surface print area for featuring additional information and marketing mechanics to the back of the label.

SEALPAC’s exclusively developed MAP+ vacuum and gas system guarantees reduced product exposure, shorter cycle times, consistent gas values and reduced gas consumption when packing your fresh products.
Modern MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) processes maintain the appetizing colour of your product for longer and provide the best appearance. Oxygen, which causes red meat to change colour inside the pack, is removed in the process and replaced by a special gas mixture that forms a protective atmosphere around the contents. As a result, the shelf life of the products is extended, and the appetizing red colour of meat is maintained.
With TraySkin® SEALPAC offers a new attractive packaging solution for your food products. A high-transparent barrier skin film fits the contours of the product like a second skin, hence preventing drip-loss. It preserves the colour, flavour, integrity and especially the tenderness of the product. Marinated products are held in place for an outstanding product presentation.
By combining precision and temperature control, SEALPAC always achieves the highest possible sealing quality. In addition, we offer our well-known InsideCut sealing, which was invented by SEALPAC many years ago. By accurately cutting and sealing the film to the inside of the tray, an outstanding presentation is displayed . The advantage of this precise sealing method lies not only in an excellent appearance and hygiene of the product, but also in the economical use of film and cutting knives.
The EasyPeelPoint system moves the peel corner within the contours of the pack and facilitates easy opening of a sealed tray or thermoformed pack. The corner of the top film is pressed into a round cavity and thus lifted from the sealing edge, after which the easy-to-grip film can be removed with minimal effort.
Sustainability is one of the key drivers in today’s packaging industry. Producers are continuously looking to reduce the amount of consumables needed for packing their food products. On the other hand, the consumer demands for optimal convenience and maximum shelf life also need to be addressed. SEALPAC proudly introduces EasyLid®: a unique concept for re-closable trays that provides full lid function in just one sealing process, while using less materials!
The EasyLid® solution combines an injection-moulded PP tray with a unique tray-sealing technology only provided by SEALPAC. The tray has a common sealing edge, as well as an additional ring. A peelable seal is applied to the regular sealing edge, whereas the additional ring is hermetically sealed in the same process. As such, the lid function is activated.
EasyLid® provides a highly reliable lid solution, but requires no additional lid, hence offering advantages in the entire production chain. It brings opportunities to various product segments, such as meat spreads, cream cheeses, salads, delicacies, snacks, sauces, nuts, confectionery, and other convenience products. Naturally, the EasyLid® solution runs on all of SEALPAC’s fully automated A-series traysealers.
With SEALPAC Duo, you are able to seal two different packs in one operation with just a single tooling. What makes the concept unique, is that it will seal two different packs in different heights and shapes at the same time. In addition, the SEALPAC Duo concept increases flexibility by providing the possibility of separate use. By means of a handle, each sealing package can be activated or deactivated, so that the two formats may be produced simultaneously or one after the other.
SEALPAC Duo can be applied on all of SEALPAC’s A-series traysealers. It is perfectly tuned to multi-component packs, such as ready meals and snacks, which need to be sealed individually. With SEALPAC Duo you minimize changeover times and increase the efficiency of your packaging process with the greatest degree of production flexibility.
SEALPAC developed its SealCup® tray-sealing technology specifically for oxygen-sensitive, spreadable products. These products will remain fresh longer in the tray, whilst the SealCup® system ensures optimal colour retention.
Our SEALPAC MAP+ system ensures that residual oxygen levels are reduced below 0.3%, thus solving most discolouration and curing issues. The SealCup® system with its peelable top film and consumer-friendly resealable lid can be used for a variety of sizes and shapes. It provides an ideal opportunity for differentiated branding and gives your product an attractive, eye-catching presence in the refrigerated section.
The specific metabolic processes that occur in fruits and vegetables convert oxygen into CO2. These must be controlled to prevent fresh produce from drying out or spoiling. Our innovative E-MAP system (Equilibrium Modified Atmosphere Packaging), an evolution of the common MAP process, keeps the oxygen content in the fresh fruit or vegetable pack at the favourable level of 2 to 6 percent. High-tech films provide controlled oxygen permeability and are precisely tailored to the specific breathing characteristics of each product.
This results in a permanently optimized atmosphere inside the pack, so your product will impress with best taste, pleasant aroma and an appetizingly fresh appearance.
For a long time, meat maturation and presentation in case-ready format was not possible without repackaging. The negative influences on appearance and shelf life were too high. Our completely new TenderPac® system has now opened the door to direct meat maturation. A two-compartment system provides for separation of the process-related meat juices and the actual meat product.
TenderPac® helps give your product a delicate texture and the best meat flavour by controlled maturation. Its appetizing presentation will be a real eye-catcher at retail. The patented ActiveStick serves as a juice absorber and can be used for additional communication purposes.
Fully automatic processing with highest product protection – and yet your product looks traditionally hand-packaged with SkirtAll®. The system makes you stand out from the masses on offer.
eTray® by SEALPAC is an innovative and sustainable packaging solution for meat, poultry, seafood and convenience products under modified atmosphere. The high-quality cardboard base, which can be fully printed on the inside and outside, hence allowing for attractive designs and offering plenty of space for communication, has a thin plastic inner layer that purely provides the sealing and barrier function. The trick: easy separation of materials after use.
The trays are pre-fabricated by means of a special thermoforming process. Owing to their highly stable, uninterrupted sealing edge, each tray is reliably sealed under MAP to ensure the safest packaging process. The innovative eTray® is suitable for denesting and allows for smooth transport across the packaging line. Compared to common trays in the market, up to 40% less plastic will be used, depending on shape and size.
The FlatSkin® system uses a cardboard carrier made from bleached or unbleached fibre, which can be printed on both sides by means of low-migration printing inks and varnishes. The carrier is coated with a polymeric protective layer. A highly transparent barrier skin film fixates the product directly onto its flat support, which allows for excellent vertical presentation. A peel tab simplifies the opening of the skin pack. After taking out the product, the thin polymeric layer is easily removed from the cardboard to allow for separate disposal. That is why FlatSkin® convinces in terms of sustainability.
FlatSkin® is suitable for a wide range of product segments. Whether sausages, cheese, fresh meat, poultry, seafood or vegetarian foods – this revolutionary vacuum packaging will turn each of those products into a highlight at retail.

Package leak detector with bubble test.
The bubble-test with LEAK-MASTER® EASY is the simplest method for packages, detecting even the smallest leaks without the need for trace gases. Enhanced by our electronic control unit PLUS, your test procedure is standardized and exactly repeatable. After the package is placed into the chamber filled with water, the head space above the water level is evacuated using a venturi vacuum (compressed-air) system. This causes the package immersed in the water to inflate, allowing any leaks and their location to be identified by a stream of bubbles.
Package leak detector based on CO2-technology.
The LEAK-MASTER® uses this CO2 as a trace gas, ensuring that the product remains entirely undamaged after testing. The LEAK-MASTER® administrates the specific settings for up to 1,200 products, as well as name, password and barcode for up to 60 users. The selection of tested products and the user log-on is controlled via touch screen or by optional barcode reader.
Automatic inline micro-leak detection system for packages based on CO2.
LEAK-MASTER® MAPMAX enables the non-destructive detection of the smallest leaks, without the costly use of helium as a trace gas – directly after the packaging process. The LEAK-MASTER® MAPMAX places the packages or complete shipping cases in the test chamber. If the test sample is leaking, the pressure difference will result in a gas flow from the package into the chamber and the CO2-concentration within the chamber rises. The highly sensitive sensor will pick up the changes of the CO2-concentration and thus, even smallest leaks are easily detected.
